White Quartz
A form a chalcedony, quartz is the most common mineral on earth, found in almost every rock type. Quartz has many applications outside of jewelry and decoration. Pulverized it is used for sandblasting and glass manufacturing as well as electronic applications.

The name quartz comes to the English language by way of the German name for the mineral, quarz. Being so abundant, quartz has been uses down through the ages from every from glass to jewelry to statues and computer parts. Quartz is the State Mineral of Arkansas.
